20 weeks: 1/2 way there!

How far along? 20 weeks 3 days!

Total weight gain/loss: 10 lbs! Holy casserole.. That's 5 lbs while on vacation!

Maternity clothes? We are living in 74-80•+ weather.. I'm in sun dresses & shorts! My maternity leggings are tucked away in my drawer.. 

Stretch marks? No but in so so dry!!! 

Sleep? Yes!!! And now I want a nap during the day!

Best moment this week: we named our baby girl and we got to see her at out 20 week ultrasound!

Miss Anything? Got my Asian food in...  I miss not having this 10lbs on me.. Miss having a cocktail.. Miss eating real sushi!

Movement: Too much movement, she sits on a nerve that shoots pain down my leg... It's killing me!!!

Food cravings: no, but my OB wanted me to gain 10lbs by 20 weeks and I was successful!! Really stuffed my face! 

Anything making you queasy or sick: nope! I hear morning sickness comes back and I really hope it doesn't!! 

Have you started to show yet: yep!!

36 Weeks... Just call me a Cling-on...

How far along? 36 weeks... this little bun in my oven enjoys baking...

Total weight gain/loss: 31 lbs.

Maternity clothes? Still in Regular sized Maxi Dresses. I tried putting on my Red Maternity Jeans and I look like the freakin Kool-Aid Man... also, my husband had to help me into it and out of it lol.

Stretch marks? none on my belly... and here I'll attach a little photo below.

Sleep: YES. up twice a night everyday this past week. It's getting difficult flipping from side to side.. and around 5AM.. when I wake up to pee, I crawl into bed on my husbands side and make him cuddle me. I think I'm driving him nuts. lol.

Best moment this week: Took an infant CPR class with my husband and mom. It feels good that she's excited enough to participate and prepare for the baby. she was taking it so seriously too!

Miss Anything? I miss a great cocktail.. (Newport sunset to be specific), I miss sushi... i miss not having to craving sweets... Before I got pregnant, I didn't care for chocolates, cookies, ice cream.. now I want them for every meal...

Movement: Yes.. he's starting to slow down with movement. Still gets his hiccups 1-2 times a day.. and I have the sprouts lite app.. where I started tracking his movement & possible contractions.

Food cravings: I can eat 1 baby watermelon a day, banana pancakes, peanut butter & jelly sandwiches on whole wheat, kale or spinach with turkey sandwich (must have mustard, cheese & avocados). I've been wanting KFC with rice.. but haven't actually ordered it.. but I've thought about it for almost 3 days straight.

Anything making you queasy or sick: milk.. but I'm drinking 2 cups a day. uck.

Have you started to show yet: obviously.

Gender: a handsome little man

Labor Signs: no, but I have Sharp pains where the sun don't shine.. and it hurts.

Belly Button in or out? Still in... I officially can't see my belly button anymore, but when I look in the mirror, it's still in.

Wedding rings on or off? still on. need to cut it off ASAP.

Happy or Moody most of the time: I'm very happy, but lately, I've been super clingy with my hubby. yesterday I cried because I didn't want to be alone at home (he was planning on watching the hockey game with his friend) and because he didn't give me enough time to prep for this, I burst into tears... am I crazy? no.. because his mom told him that at this stage its normal that I'm this emotional. lol. oops.

Looking forward to: our Breast Feeding class on Saturday & our Doctors appointment on Wednesday where He'll do a full ultrasound and let me know if Landon might make an early debut.

oOOooh the best gift showed up in the mail this week! My cousin Linda sent Landon the cutest winter coat! It'll fit perfectly in time for Xmas! I literally can't wait to put him in it!!



She also sent us this CD collection! We immediately loaded 1/2 into my car and 1/2 into my husbands. I can't wait to get a CD player and play it when he arrives!



Last week my company threw me a little baby shower! it was super sweet of them to go through all the trouble! we had some yummy sandwiches and they had the cutest little sign up and gifted us the most adorable little outfits for Landon. I love my job!! everyone is soOOoo kind and relaxed there! I'm so lucky to work for them!

35 Weeks... Will I make it to 40?

How far along? 35 Weeks and Everyone is starting to tell me that I've dropped... predicting an early arrival. I just need him to last 2 more weeks!

Total weight gain/loss: 29 lbs.

Maternity clothes? Mainly regular sized dresses but I love my Maternity jeans & Also, I can only wear non-ribbed tops to bed.

Stretch marks? My big belly has ZERO stretch marks.. and with this heat, My baby is getting a ton of sun!

Sleep: YES. I switched back to my side of the bed. My husband has to help me up but, I'm still sleeping very nicely. I LOVE SLEEP!

Best moment this week: We went to La Jolla for Memorial weekend. it was really nice! Also, washing his stuff and prepping for his arrival.

Miss Anything? I miss wearing a bra without it cutting off my breathing. speaking of bras, why are they sOOOooOOOo ugly and frumpy?? I went to ask for a little more support/padding and the lady laughed SOOOO hard at me. that my husband wanted to punch her. she said, "you are the only person that might want support or padding, you clearly are not experienced enough". she then sent me into the dressing room with a droopy nude bra to try on. so gross.

Movement: Yes, he's been moving around A LOT- and his hiccups crack me up!!

Food cravings: I love watermelon, PB&J (so random.. but I'm obsessed lately), klondike bars (biggest mistake buying a pack on sale... because I dream about it.

Anything making you queasy or sick: nope.

Have you started to show yet: does a bear shit in the woods?? duh.

Belly Button in or out? Still in... surprising, every morning my husband looks at it and says, "turkey's not ready yet." lol

Wedding rings on or off? Funny story, it's still on. We went to La Jolla to visit my Jeweler... they tried everything to get it off too. but the guy that's responsible for cutting rings was on vacation. so I have to go back to get it cut.

Happy or Moody most of the time: HAPPY- but I have a little anxiety.

Looking forward to: finishing building his stuff and baby proofing. We also have baby CPR class next thursday. that should be fun!

Parenting Classes & Hospital Tour

My Husband and I signed up for quite a few classes recently. We wanted to prepare ourselves for little Landon but mostly, we were trying our best to see what we were really in for.


This is the "baby" we brought to class. lol.

First class was:

Baby Care Basics & Beyond Class. This class was designed to teach us New Parents how to care for a newborn. I mainly wanted to learn the following things:

1. How to take care of Little Mans circumcision. check.
2. How to take care of his umbilical cord. check.
3. How to take care of both the circumcision & Umbilical cord at the same time. check.
4. how to bathe him in the first month. check.
5. brush up on diaper changes.check.


I'm VERY happy I took this class! More so, I got to watch my husband interact with his "Baby". He actually asked if he could swaddle, diaper, and hold the baby. it was pretty sweet to see him WANT to do these things.

When we got home, we decided to test our little puppies. We wanted to see how they would interact with new objects.

Leiah, our white poodle, did very well. she was instantly attached. she wanted to sit next to the doll and sniff it, and followed the doll everywhere.

Maddox, our Yorkie-Poo- was very curious at first. but kept his distance. everytime we moved near him, he politely got up and moved. He sat at a distance and just observed.


The next day, we did a hospital tour. We got instructions on Where to park, where to register, which floor we go to, where we start and where we end up after the baby arrives.. EVERYTHING we needed to know about our hospital stay.

It was pretty intense to know that we are SO CLOSE to Landon's arrival and as much as I can't wait to hold him in my arms, I'm feeling a little anxiety now. I feel only 75% prepared and I feel like you can never be 100% right???

34 week update

How far along? 34 Weeks Today! 41 days to go!

Total weight gain/loss: 29 lbs! Still working, walking and swimming!

Maternity clothes? Thank goodness for summer! Mainly Maxi's and for work- I have to wear jeans, with a top and lightweight sweater or cropped jacket & flats.

Stretch marks? Nada. thank goodness! I lather up with Palmers after my morning shower and then re-lather if i feel itchy and def lather before bed.

Sleep: YES. I switched back to my side of the bed. rolling from right to left is very difficult.

Best moment this week: We LOVED our newborn prep class. My husband learned how to swaddle the baby, take care of his circumcision and umbilical cord at the same time, change diapers, how to sooth the baby and rock him, and give him a bath.

Miss Anything? I Miss not being so emotional. I had a rough day on Sunday, over dinner... lol

Movement: YES! I swear when my husband talks to the belly Landon trying to push his face close to my hubby for a kiss... because theres always a round tennis ball sized lump facing my husband... they're going to be bff.

Food cravings: Same... I'm starting not to LIKE donuts as much as the other 32 weeks. lol... drinking lots and lots of water lately.

Anything making you queasy or sick: yea, everything on the menu at Chart House... (Sunday's issue)

Wedding rings on or off? It is still on... and we went to get it cut off but were recommended to go back to our jeweler to have it cut since we have a lifetime warranty on our ring.

Mother's Day

This is a photo of my mother and I when I was just a little baby!! Man do I look super ASIAN!! lol.

For My first un-offical Mother's day- we did have a little celebration! After all, I DO have a baby growing in my belly!

On Saturday after my brother's engagement party, we decided (Last minute) to take all the mothers out for some Cajun Crawl fish for dinner. (a party of 40!!)

I'm pretty excited that Landon will have the opportunity to meet his grandparents and Great-Grandmothers. I didn't meet my grandparents until I was in my Teens, and because they moved in with my family, I quickly learned how to speak vietnamese the RIGHT way.

I hope that Landon will learn vietnamese Fluently! I believe it's important for him to learn about his heritage and culture. I hope that he'll grow up to be worldly and smart!

Lastly, My mother's day gift! My husband is such an amazing man!! I got a beautiful set of stackable cocktail rings, a little necklace and a brand new LV purse! Oh, I can't forget- My pink tree!! Its still alive!

I hope all my Mommies to be and all the Mommies out there had a fabulous mother's day!

33 Weeks & Counting!

How far along? 33 Weeks Today!

Total weight gain/loss: 29 lbs! I'm guessing I'll gain a total of 35-40 lbs. But I've been swimming everyday after work!

Maternity clothes? I've been sticking strictly with regular clothes, mainly maxi's, dresses. I do wear cotton legging shorts under because my inner thighs like to touch one another and I don't like the feeling.

Stretch marks? nope! People ask me that ALL the time.. and I Just might have to take a photo to prove it. lol...

Sleep: Yes- Like a rock. Last night My husband and I switched sides, I mainly sleep on my left side (recommended by most Doctors & websites to avoid putting pressure on your organs)... and we both tossed and turned. BUT switching sides has been sooOOoo difficult! Hopefully I'll adjust.

Best moment this week: Enjoyed my "First" Mother's day! My Little brother had his traditional Engagement and Landon started getting Hiccups!

Miss Anything? I miss not being sweaty and out of breath. I swear I breath like a creepy crank caller.

Movement: YES!

Food cravings: I enjoy fruit, smoothies, spinach and burgers. I eat like I'm pregnant with a girl.

Wedding rings on or off? So, I did something stupid. On saturday, I decided to "see" if it would fit.. and it did. I put it on, wore it all day and haven't been able to get it off. I think I'll have to get it cut off this week and my husband was pretty upset at me for putting it on.

Ultrasound Update:

So Little man was super shy today! He was facing my spine and was curled up in a ball. Usually, our UStech is able to wiggle him out of his sleep, but today, he was not having it. He only let us see his hand, foot, ear and his family Jewels... here are a few photos we got.

Overall, he has a great strong heartbeat. He's measuring about 6 days ahead of schedule... that's 2 weeks ahead of his original due date. We anticipate his arrival around July 4th weekend AND they said he'll weigh about 7.5 lbs.

Little Man Baby Shower Filled with Love!!

I wanted to Give an update of my Baby Shower from a few weeks ago!

First off, I L.O.V.E.D every minute of it! All the little details were perfect!

My Sister made this Cute little photo board and we put up all these photos of my husband and I when we were kids.

The dessert table was ADORABLE!

The Beverage Table had Lemonade, Iced Tea and Mimosa's!

Now onto Games!! The first was "Measure the belly"!! I thought it would be cute to show my grandma, 2 mothers and the winner (Vanessa)!

The second Game is Match the socks! there was a bag of 20 mix matched socks and the fastest person to match all the socks won a prize! My GBFF's (Guy Best friend forever)wife won... which she should've since she has two little boys! But it was super exciting for her because this is the first thing she's ever won in her life!

The funniest Game was "Oh SHIT, My water broke". This involved little plastic babies frozen in water! Some of the girls thought my sis was serving a beverage and started immediately drinking the water, some of the girls squeezed the cups which caused a huge water explosion in the living room- and babies popped up and flew across the room! The goal was to get the baby out of the ice to win a prize! We didn't get a picture of all the girls playing because it happened so fast... but we did get a photo of my sister messing around after she dropped all the clean babies on the floor!

The last activity was pretty awesome, Everyone got to decorate a little Onesie for Landon!so CUTE!

Well, I must say- Thank you to my amazing Family and Girlfriends for such a beautiful shower!!! We were left VERY well prepared our precious pumpkin to arrive!

32 Weeks...

How far along? 32 Weeks Today! Only 54 days to go!

Total weight gain/loss: 29 lbs... estimated 1 lb a week from now until I deliver. My doctor says I'm right on track, he said to watch the sweets but was SUPER proud that we've gone mostly organic.

Maternity clothes? Yes & No. I've been swimming after work almost everyday and after my husband took a photo of me in the pool I realized that I should probably stop wearing bikinis. lol.

Stretch marks? no.. thank you jesus! I do hope none pop up as i try to lose the baby weight.

Sleep: Yep! It's been very difficult to get in and out of bed, rotating to get comfortable is extremely difficult but once I fall asleep, I am knocked out. I do find myself waking up on my back and according to my husband my breathing has gotten louder since I hit 30 weeks. oops!

Best moment this week: Theres a few:
Landon had the Hiccups and it went on for about 10 minutes. I drank a little water and walked around and he stopped.
He did his first full Somersault on Tuesday and my husband got to see it. My hubby was super startled and excited to see it. Every time my Hubby starts talking Landon MOVES and gets excited!
At one of my hospital accounts, they asked me to stop by and had cupcakes to celebrate mothers day! so sweet!

Miss Anything? I really miss walking around without having my thighs touch... lol... and I miss NOT waddling. I miss wearing heels & I miss running around in heels. OH and I miss wearing my ring.

Movement: YES!

Food cravings: I can eat a baby watermelon in 1 sitting. I found this sandwich Shop that serves nitrate free pannini's and I go almost everyday.

Total weight gain/loss: It seems like I'm the roundest pregnant girl of the bunch.

Maternity clothes? Yes & No. it happens. Lately I've been wearing regular clothes... my scrubs don't fit anymore for work so i'm wearing dark dresses with leggings & flats. My Dress this week is from Arden B. I LOVE IT! The Color is an orange Coral. Perfect for spring!

Stretch marks? no.. thank you jesus!

Sleep: YES!! I've been getting sleepy around 7. then wake up around 2am... back to sleep again around 3 until my alarm rings.

Best moment this week: My Brother celebrated his 28th birthday!

Miss Anything? I miss going out with my friends and having a good time. Cinco De Mayo is on Saturday and I want to sit in front of a blended mango margerita and just sniff it. lol

Movement: OH yeah. it makes me feel good when He moves around.

How far along? 30 Weeks... 69 days to go!

Total weight gain/loss: At the OB on Monday, I had lost 2 lbs.. But it's probably because I've been exercising, walking and helping plant flowers and moving around ALOT lately. Not to mention I still work a full time Job and run a business. Don't worry, Little Landon has a big head and he's about 3 1/2 lbs.

Maternity clothes? Yes but the last week or so, I've been in regular clothes, I do however prefer to be in my underwear and T-shirt any chance I get. I think my ribcage is getting wider, I feel that my bra size is up to a 36-C. I have the boobies I've always wanted and the stomach every girl fears. haha

Stretch marks? no... just a big baby!

Sleep: YES!! although my dog Leiah thinks she's on baby time!! Last night she woke up at 2:30 to play, and she needed to Pee. AT 4:15 she woke up and started running around like a maniac... and when I yelled at her, she refused to sleep on the bed. kids.

Best moment this week: I had the best BABY SHOWER!!! Also, I got to see my little man on Monday and I was sOOOoo happy to see him!! I LOVE HIM!

Miss Anything? I miss being able to squeeze through small spaces! this one still stands. Oh I also miss being independent... carrying laundry upstairs, taking out the trash, carrying chairs... etc.. Oh, and my belly is collecting crumbs when I eat. lol.

Movement: OH yes. I think he's got his dance moves like crazy. lol.. he's pretty fly for a 1/2 white guy.

Food cravings: nothing special. I like vegetables a lot right now. spinach and brocholli is yummy to me.

Best moment this week: My Mother in law & Sister in Law came to visit! It's so nice to have them here! They love our puppies & the first thing my SIL did at the airport was rub my belly and said, "there's my little nephew!?!"

Movement: yes, he's like clock work.. About 7:45 am... Around noon... Fiercely at 8pm and he goes bananas when my husband reads to him at night!

28 weeks

How far along? 28 weeks! 83 days to go!

Total weight gain/loss: Well, I haven't been to the doctors for almost 6 weeks.. and this week during my glucose screening, I've gained a total of... **Drum roll please** 26 lbs... go ahead an gasp, lol, that's 11 lbs since my last appointment! I think i'm gonna really start walking for the rest of my pregnancies because I don't think that I'm too big in the belly, its the butt & thighs. ALL the junk went to my trunk. lol

Maternity clothes? Still mixing and matching! maternity bottoms & some maternity tops, regular tops & dresses.. and I moved up to medium underwear.. lol

Stretch marks? nope, I'm just a chunky monkey

Sleep: yes... i love sleep

Best moment this week: I went to watch "The Voice" Live! It was a long day but well worth it!

Miss Anything? I really miss looking good in photos... my face is looking super round now.

Movement: yes, I think he sits in there pushing on my belly button... like he's ringing a doorbell... and it went from a gentle cute poking... to a full on breakdancer in there.

Food cravings: coconut cream pie... but we've been really good about eating mostly organic!

Anything making you queasy or sick: no, and that glucose drink was pretty tasty. lol.. just not at 7:15 in the morning.

Looking forward to: My husbands been fiercely working on the yard to build a play area for Baby Landon.. and he's almost done! I'll post photos this week. Also, we're having our baby shower next week so I'm very excited for that! Also, we've been so exhausted from all the yard work, we stopped working on the nursery but I'll pick up the slack this week!

27 weeks!!!

wow.. 90 days left! This week went by so quickly I don't even know where to start! Well, he's been kicking me pretty hard lately. So hard that I sometimes feel like I'm about to fall.

Oh, lets follow up with puppy training! so We've mastered the "No Puppies in the Nursery" Rule. Today it was slightly broken when Grandma came over to visit... but overall, 99% of the time they wait outside the nursery.

"No puppies in the kitchen/breakfast nook" when we're eating... has successfully been implemented. Leiah doesn't even bother trying anymore. Maddox just stands there, pitifully staring from the tv room.

"No Puppies going up OR down the stairs when I'm on the stairs".. this is a work in process. I have to tell them to "STAY" before I go up or down... and they usually wait. this is successful 80% of the time. Leiah has figured it out but maddox NEEDS to be by me 24 hours a day.

the last training was.. "Don't touch the baby's toys". this one failed miserably. Leiah has her 5 toys she loves and plays with.. whereas Maddox completely fell apart with this. he became soOOoo paranoid about which toys he could play with, his world completely shattered. it took me 2 weeks to get him close to a bear. I had to stuff it with treats.. and it took another 3 weeks for him to fetch a toy. poor guy. I'm going to scratch this rule out... I suppose landon can learn how to respect the puppies toys. lol.



How far along? 27 weeks exactly!

Total weight gain/loss: I will find out on the 11th. My husband thinks that I've gained 7 lbs since my last appointment in feb.. that would put me at 22lbs gained. My mom thinks I've gained a total of 30lbs so far... in fact, last weekend, they kept telling me I was big and then my mom said I was TOO fat... the next day, my husband said the junk in my trunk was very kim kardashian and told me my juicy sweats were too "Juicy" to wear to my moms house. this left me hysterically crying in the closet. lol. hormones.

Maternity clothes? yep. I just had a shopping trip today at the gap. Got myself some cute pants and a bunch of shirts. they had a pretty good sale!

Stretch marks? No, and I thank god Everyday for it.

Sleep: yes... I've been sleeping very well! I also notice that the humidifier helps me wake up without any congestion.

Best moment this week: My dad said he's so excited and ready to be a grandpa. He's all smiles all the time! He's also helping us build a play area for the baby. He's been spending a lot of time teaching my husband how to do stuff. It really warms my heart to see them bonding and I hope when Landon grows up & gets married, he too will have a great relationship with his in laws. Oh also, all of our nursery furniture showed up!

Miss Anything? I really miss being able to go out with my friends and dancing... looking pretty.

Movement: all day long. There's a sharp jabbing on the right side.. omg, I think he's punting field goals... or doing Brazilian jujitsu with my liver.

Food cravings: I really think about cake all day, juice.. sugar.. donuts.. but I'm trying not to indulge. My glucose test is next week. Any advice how to avoid gestational diabetes would be greatly appreciated!

Labor Signs: no... but I'm feeling really tight in my belly and I think my pelvic bone is growing.. We do a lot of stretching at night.

26 Weeks!!

**Today's dilemma**

I forgot to each lunch today.. I got home around 2:30, this is what I inhaled in 15 minutes:
2 chocolate covered marshmallow eggs
1 pack of chocolate koalas (Asian cookies)
1/4 cup of humus
1 snack pack of Cheez Its
2 slices of Colby jack cheese
2 Large strawberries
1/3 cup of pistachios
1 cutie (baby orange)
1 snack pack of spicy Doritos
1 slice of Pineapples

no joke.. then I made lunch/dinner.. linner. lol

I made 6 baked chicken drumsticks
homemade mashed potatoes (3 medium sized ones)
sauteed asparagus...

we ate that around 3:30...

its 5:12.. and I'm ready for dinner!


How far along? 26 weeks.. wow 97 more days to go!

Total weight gain/loss: total 15 lbs... I'm anxious to see how much weight I've gained at my next appointment!

Maternity clothes? Yep! I'm trying to shop for the perfect dress for my upcoming baby shower but my husband wants me to wait for a few weeks... I tried on this dress that fit me perfectly a few weeks ago.. I've had it in my closet for years! When I went to take it off.. it wouldn't budge. I started to panic because I thought my husband would have to cut me out of it!! I nearly dislocated my arm!! but after about 5 minutes I managed to wiggle out of it. back in the closet you go dress!!

Stretch marks? Nope! So far SO GOOD!!

Sleep: yes...like a rock. Evening walks around the lake puts me right to sleep! I also got a longer body pillow and its the perfect buddy.

Best moment this week: My husband asked me the best questions.. "So, when the baby comes... he wakes up, gets a diaper change.. and then eats.. Then what? do I lay him there and look at him? what will he do all day?"

Miss Anything? I miss drinking, dancing and wearing heels.

Movement: He's been getting very strong lately... its almost too painful.

Food cravings: nothing too special... i think about cake all day long but I only get to have sweets when we're out to dinner.

Anything making you queasy or sick: nope.. he has a very strong appetite.

100 days left!!

well, actually 98 days left! We celebrated 100 days to go with a nice dinner and some shopping.

I can't believe how quickly my pregnancy is flying by!!

Yesterday we went to Babies R Us to look at gliders... they only had 3 to try, I didn't find anything I LOVED.. but I'll be visiting the other Babies R us to take a look.

Today I'm going to the DMV to change my Name, Address etc etc etc.



Last night, After our babies R us visit we got a cute little gift bag and inside was the smallest little diaper EVER. it was soOOoo cute!

Lastly, the baby has been a crazy little kicker lately. Last night at dinner, as the music got louder and more intense, he kept jiving to the music. it was almost uncomfortable how HARD he moves. At Babies r Us, he kicked me so hard I thought I might die. This is only the beginning, I still have 14 weeks left.

Sleep has been pretty awesome, I've been having the funniest dreams ever!! I wake myself up because I'm laughing so hard. Last night, I had a dream that my husband offered to breast feed the baby.. He kept saying, You carried him for 9 months, I'll breast feed for 9 months. and he was doing it. I was laughing and kicking so hard in my sleep that I kicked my little dog off the bed. lol!! OOPS!

Baby Shower Gifts & Surprises

I started Registering around a month ago. I haven't really grasp the concept of registering (I didn't even register for my wedding)... But with baby stuff, theres so much to research and SO MUCH you need that the Baby Registry really helped out by keeping me organized.

As I finalized the registry list, a surprise arrived on my front door!



It took a little hunting to find out who sent it to me this adorable gift (only 5 people knew about my registry) but in the end, it was my cousin Paul and his wife Little Nancy. :) we call her Little Nancy because she's teeny tiny and she's also expecting her first!!

**Why I registered for Graco**



We chose the Graco SnugRide30. It's a lightweight carseat and it's super easy to use. It's also the country's top selling carseat and Got an A rating on all websites and books I've read.

I did go back and forth between the BRITAX stroller/carseat, I really was torn but the Britax is ALOT more expensive and it was a little heavier. I preferred the Graco because I really wanted the Frame/stroller that went with it.




I like this stroller because it's VERY LIGHTWEIGHT and easy to use. I really thought about weight, functionality and how long I'll use this for.

Since infants will grow out of this carseat quickly, I wanted to make sure when we transitioned the baby to a convertible carseat, I'll transition him to an easier stroller. I want the baby to be able to test out a stroller that he'll actually sit in. I don't want to go through 4-5 different strollers. I really hope I make the best decision for my little one. We just want him to be safe and happy.

25 weeks & McNugget has a name!!

Well, I suppose I should make an official announcement for my Little McNugget.. We decided that his name would be:



Landon James Thiện Scaife


Landon has been his name since the day we got pregnant, My husband picked it out and I just let him go with it.

James is my husbands Middle Name and my Father in Law's First Name

Thiện in Vietnamese, which means “good” or “kind.” is my brothers Vietnamese name.

I love the name we picked, its strong and it sounds successful.



How far along? 25 weeks!

Maternity clothes? yes!! But I can still fit in regular clothes... I love Targets Maternity Shirts by Liz Lang (size small), the maternity line in general fits really nice and the fabrics are super soft!! Old Navy has some super awesome stuff. their cotton Tanks are comfy and their maternity pants are great and very affordable. I buy the bottoms at old navy and the tops at forever21.

Best moment this week: While sitting in a meeting today, my stomach starts growling... and then the baby starts kicking like crazy.. the O.R Manager looks at me and says, "Anna, your stomach is jerking. are you ok?" and I had to tell him I was pregnant. Then, he thought I was hungry!! "Nope, I fed him before I showed up.. that's why I'm late".. apparently, he proved me wrong because he stopped the meeting (with 3 other people in the room) to give me a cookie.. after about 2 minutes, baby stopped kicking. I was mortified.

Miss Anything? This week I miss wearing my good jeans... and high heels... and sushi.

Movement: all day long.. he calms down when my husband reads to us at night.

Food cravings: fruit, juice, smoothies... cake cake cake cake.

Anything making you queasy or sick: salmon. i can't eat it. every time I eat it, I want to puke after.

Have you started to show yet: I think I'm super showing but most people tell me I'm NOT that big.. My husband thinks I'm super huge.

Viva Las Vegas!!

oooh my amazing hubby decided to take our little family on a mini weekend getaway... We even took our puppies on vacation!
So on Friday afternoon, we packed up the puppies and drove 4 hours Vegas. It was pretty smooth sailing, making a few stops to stretch our legs.

On our first night, we had dinner at the MGM and enjoyed a show called "cirque du soleil ka". With all the driving and hoopla of Vegas, I forgot to take photos of my husband and I, but I did sneak a photo during the show. It was pretty amazing!



On Saturday I woke up to find my dog Leiah laying on my belly. it was a pretty sweet photo!



she definitely loves her baby brother!

later that day, We enjoyed some sweets at Serendipity 3 at our hotel. I've been wanting to try out this place for the last 3-4 visit! The Frozen Hot Chocolate was amazing and the Giant Chocolate Donut was bigger than my face. I ate about 1/2 by myself and my husband ate a few bites.



For Dinner we ate at this French Restaurant called "Guy Savoy". It was the most expensive meal of my life. The service was very impressive. Nothing on the menu was less than $68 (soup.. and it was not good). I did Love the 20 different fresh baked breads, 10 different desserts, the corn soup etc..




later that evening, we got fancy and went to see PeepShow. :)



On our way home, our puppies snuggled each other for a little bit until the little one fell apart and ended up in the front seat with me.. and after the lunch, I ended up in the back seat with them and I must admit, it was pretty comfortable. I took a nice nap!




And now we're home! It was a pretty cozy vacation! I am very lucky to have an amazing husband who spoils me rotten. I love u Hubby!!
