Easter 2014

Happy Easter Everyone! We had to cancel all of our Easter plans since I'm on very strict bedrest. My brother and SIL was nice enough to take Landon Easter egg hunting!

They took him to a place where they had over 50,000 eggs! It was so cute watching him collect eggs!

On Easter morning, we let him come down stairs and open his basket from the Easter bunny!

His basket was filled with "easy junk". Just simple things that he could play with and toss. His big ticket item was a Mr. Potato head. His favorite was a slinky.

After his nap.. My brother and sister came over to gift him some baskets! We also gifted my niece a basket for her 1st Easter.

My sister gave Landon the cutest dinosaur basket.

It goes great with his current dinosaur obsession.

We got pictures of the kids together. Seeing Landon next to Mia, he looked sooo big and grown up! He's so sweet with her too!

And a photo of Landon with my husband the day before Easter... My 2 handsome guys!

And last but not least.. A family selfie!

I hope you all had a lovely Easter! What did your family do with all the candy and sweets? I'm about to get gestational diabetes!

Oh before I forget, my Easter chalkboard!

34 weeks: We Made It!!!

How far along? 34 weeks! We made it! After the last few weeks of torture... I'm so happy we finally made it to 34... Our safety number! She can now come at anytime.

Total weight gain/loss: I'm fluctuating in weight but Lucy had a growth spurt, measuring 2 weeks ahead of schedule. So currently, my weight gain is 30-34lbs.

Maternity clothes? Yep! Yesterday I wanted to wear white pants with an aqua top... I managed to squeeze into my pre maternity jeans... But I nearly passed out! My husband had to peel them off of me.

Stretch marks? Nope!

Sleep? Trying too.. But I'm like a hot oven and I wake up a lot in a heated panic!

Best moment this week: getting to see her every week for a quick ultrasound!

Miss Anything? I miss being Mobil... I miss being on the go... I miss life.

Movement: she's moving around a lot and I love it!

Food cravings: pound cake, ice cream sandwiches, watermelon, siracha (weird because I can't eat spicy food), vietnamese sandwiches and burgers!

Anything making you queasy or sick: I'm feeling very queasy lately.. Especially in the middle of the night.

Have you started to show yet: you cannot miss me... I'm huge.

Gender: sweet baby girl!

Labor Signs: yes. Dilated to 2 still... Cervix shrank again.. Down to 2.4 from 2.9... Heavy contractions so they gave me medicine to stop it.. But only if it feels too uncomfortable

Belly Button in or out? It is literally at the edge... It's kind of freaking me out! While wearing clothes.. It looks out.

Wedding rings on or off? on

Happy or Moody most of the time: I'm really sensitive this week.

Looking forward to: Easter! I love having traditions for Landon!

Landon is 22 Months

Say it ain't so!!! 22 months??? It's much easier to accept his 2nd birthday is around the corner because we are expecting a little one in a few weeks.

Weight: ranges between 24.5-27 lbs.. But he loves to weigh himself 1-5x a day.

Health: very healthy this past month and he's doing really well!

Diet: loves vietnamese food. LOVES it.

Social: he had a play date with my sister and her friends daughter. He's such a ladies man!

Sleep: naps are 12:30/1- 2:30/3. And 8-7:30. 2-3x this month he slept until 8:30.... It was awesome!

Crying: like this? Lol just kidding. We rarely get years.. But there's been a lot of whining.... And we redirect when he's misbehaving. We also have him sit with his hands in his lap when he's disobedient. You can really tell when he knows he's done something wrong.. Because he says "uh oh" and if I correct his behavior, he will cry.

Loves: dinosaurs and pop up books. I mean obsessed with it!!!

Clothes: size 18 & 24, some 2T. Shoes 6.

Milestones- he's in underwear all day except naps, bedtime and when we leave the house. He has maybe 1 accident a day.

Must Haves: smoothies (he calls "joose"), he must have a blanket and his dog sitting on his lap.. Dinosaurs, walks and mama.

Teeth: 15! I felt 1 back molar so looks like his last set of teeth are coming...lots of extra drooling. We doubled up on his amber necklace!

Oh and he loves his dada-daddy. Since I've been on bed rest, my husband has really stepped up and they are best friends! I love watching them bond!

"G" is for Glitz, Glam, Girl.. A Baby Shower for Lucy

Over the weekend, my sister, sister in law and best friend threw me a little shower. Here are my invitations.. LOVE!!

Originally, my shower was scheduled at my moms house, but with me being placed on bed rest and my OB constantly suggesting I be admitted to the hospital... I began to panic and had my sister cancel the shower... It was really stressful!

My sister talked me into having my shower and we switched it to one of my favorite restaurants. It was perfect! I honestly couldn't have asked for a better shower!

It was quaint, lovely and I loved catching up with my family and friends who are all new parents as well!!!

I feel so blessed to have such sweet family and friends who made it out to celebrate!!

Here are more details!

Food:

The food was amazing!! I had a pizza with pepperoni, spicy peppers & sausage. The strawberry lemonade dipped in pop rocks was delicious!

Dessert was from Casey's cupcakes!

Funfetti!! My FAVORITE!! I had funfetti cake at Landon's shower as well!! It's my favorite!

I saw these canvas bags on Pinterest and I had to have them!!

My sil filled the bags with Essie nail polish and mani ped kit! Soooo cute!

We had a simple game that gave us tons of laughs!! I wasn't even close to winning but we had such a good laugh!

It really was more than I could ever ask for and it makes me so excited for Lucy's arrival!
